 Oakmount Real Estates is a commercial and residential consulting business where Andre James is the proprietary director. Andre has over 30 years’ experience in the commercial and residential property sectors as both an agent and developer. Andre started his career with Colliers where he worked in development and investment, advising public and private sector developers on the delivery and funding of new schemes and institutional investor clients on the acquisition and disposal of standing investments. His main specialisation was the retail sector, where he was a market leading adviser. With the emergence of the PRS sector, Andre has been a pioneer in the Build to Rent funding market.


 Andre was a main board director at Colliers UK and was Head of National Capital Markets for nearly 20 years. More recently Andre was Commercial Property Director at Taylor Wimpey responsible for delivery and exit strategies for commercial properties within residential led schemes. He also worked on a number of major regeneration schemes where he led the bid and design process.

Wisley Airfield 



This former wartime airfield located in the Parish of Ockham was originally a grass airstrip used to test aircraft built at Weybridge by Vicker. Now the site of a proposed new settlement of 2000 new homes, 43 ha of SANGS, schools, local centre including shops and workspace, industrial space, and community centre. ORE advising on location, design and layout of new local centre in the context of master plan, pre-planning and community engagement relating to 70,000 sqft of commercial uses together with delivery and exit strategy. ORE provided advice on retail store specification, leasing and investment marketing culminating in the sale of the convenience store to an owner occupier / investor structured as a forward commitment to purchase at practical completion.


Morello ii




 The Morello project is a £350m regeneration scheme delivered by Menta and Redrow in JV to provide 700 new homes adjacent to East Croydon station. BTR development funding of 338 unit phase II scheme plus 20,000 sqft commercial space which was forward funded by Mitsubishi Real Estate / Europa Capital for £250m.


University College of Football Business

Adjoining the Wembley Park regeneration project being promoted by Quintain to deliver 5m sqft on new residential and commercial space to include over 6000 apartments. Advising developer on site acquisition, design and delivery of student accommodation scheme with pre-let to the University College of Football Business and a forward funded sale. PBSA development funding on behalf of Cole Waterhouse of 678 student bed scheme of 196,000 sqft. Funded with Unite Student for £98m.

A consortium development by Crest Nicholson, Persimmon Homes & Taylor Wimpey to deliver 1,510 new homes, 25% of which is affordable housing, a new local centre, neighbourhood hall and primary school together with the creation of the Riverside Green Chain. ORE advising on the delivery and exit strategy for the 20,000 sqft local centre which includes 80 apartments being sold to an RSL.



Battersea Exchange 



Battersea Exchange is a Taylor Wimpey development that combines proximity to historic landmarks along the River Thames with superb transport connections to the rest of London. Positioned at the western gateway of the Nine Elms regeneration project, it provides views of the iconic Battersea Power Station, Battersea Park and the photogenic Chelsea Bridge. The development provides 290 apartments and houses together with a new primary school, 9 commercial units and 15 railway arch units. Broadnook Garden Village is an exciting new development in the north Leicestershire countryside in the borough of Charnwood close to the charming villages of Rothley and Thurcaston.
